Today’s catch comes from Kathy Yaeji Lee…aka Yaeji. Yaeji was born in Queens, NY and moved from New York to Atlanta when she was 5, and then eventually to South Korea. She eventually moved back to the Brooklyn, and got involved in the music scene as a DJ & producer. She has put out many singles, including the mixtape What We Drew. The American-Korean musician is now getting ready to release her first full length album called With a Hammer, which should be out in April. Today’s catch is the intoxicating and amazing “Done (Let’s Get It)“. This is what she says about the album…
“wanted to give you the first news that i am finally ready to share my debut album With A Hammer with you all this april 2023 <3 ur the first to see the special album artwork (i made with my friend Dasom), along with a little note about the album. I can’t wait to share the first song with you so soon.”
