This is perfect news for a Nick and Emily show! Since Jason is away, it is more acceptable than ever to talk about video games and other nerd news. Although all of the games nominated were very recent (Aliens: Fireteam Elite, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla: Dawn of Ragnarok, Call of Duty: Vanguard, Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy, and Old World), we were able to have fun without having any knowledge about the nominees. This might have just been an excuse for Nick to flex his 8-bit knowledge without anyone there to complain.
