Kanye West keeps putting his foot in his mouth during interviews, and today CJ, Matt, and Spenny discuss how strange and sad it is. The once highly praised producer and rapper has been interviewed on several shows wherein he praises Nazis and condemns Jews. We discuss the sad mental state of this dude, having all been through our own mental health issues, but in no way is this a defense of such hateful conspiracies. It’s just easy to get sucked into that type of thinking when you’re unwell in the head. 

Anyway, it’s not all doom and gloom. Unfortunately, Emily is out today, so we’ve got a shorter episode. But! Today is National Pie Day, so CJ and Spenny discuss their favorite place to get pie. They also realize they don’t know of a ton of places to get pies around town since it isn’t normally something they’re looking for when out and about. Send us your suggestions @TheCJMorgan. 

And Matt reports that carbon dioxide batteries have been announced by a company. CO2, or carbon dioxide, is the gas we release when exhaling, and it’s also the gas that plants absorb to produce oxygen – you know, the stuff we breathe and need to live. Since CO2 is a byproduct of our existence, why not try to make money off of it? And power things? Matt explores all the details in today’s Weird or Wired.
