Today’s catch comes the indie-chill singer and songwriter, Tei Shi. Her real name is Valerie Teicher and she was born in Columbia, raised in Canada, but now resides in New York. Her music is a beautiful blend of electronic, indie, & pop, and she is set to drop her sophomore album, La Linda on 11/15. Now if her name sounds familiar it’s because she has been featured on tracks by Glass Animals and Blood Orange. Last year Tei Shi and Blood Orange collaborated on the song “Hope” from his album Negro Swan. Well, it looks like Dev Hynes (Blood Orange) is paying it back by appearing on today’s catch “Even If It Hurts“. This is her description of the new track…
