If you’ve ever heard Jason refer to himself as a professional comedian and thought what is he talking about, please allow us to explain. Back in 2008, Jason got into an argument with his ex-wife, Allison, on Memorial Day weekend. She wanted to take improv classes together and, of course, Jason refused. His argument was that being funny on the radio made him a professional comedian, and professional comedians don’t take improv classes with a bunch of amateurs. This happened while Jason was working a station event at an old downtown nightclub, Vichi, who had provided them with a bottle of Grey Goose. Jason’s wife got mad and took off, leaving Jason to finish the whole bottle himself.
The next day we were partying at the Round Rock Express pool, before ending up on the lake. In one of the earliest instances of Jason shampooing himself, he ended up taking a little nap on the boat before getting thrown into the lake by Deb and former producer Cassandra. Luckily someone got it on tape, and if you listen closely, you can hear Jason’s ex-wife heckling him by calling him a profession comedian. It’s a shame those two didn’t work out.
