Austin Pride 2019: Boogie Wonderland
Saturday, Aug 10| 11 AM – 7 PM |
Fiesta Gardens
It’s pride week in Austin and there are SO many things going on around town to celebrate. The biggest of them all is the annual parade and festival taking over Austin this Saturday. More than 400,000 attended the celebration in 2018, and with more expected to attend this year, it’s sure to be the largest pride celebration in Austin yet! Enjoy a day full of carnival games, inflatable games, drag queen storytime, and plenty of pride to go around.
Explore more than 140 vendors accompanied by live music all afternoon. You’re sure to work up quite an appetite with all of this fun, but no worries because they will have a great selection of food and drink options for you to choose from!
While the festival requires a ticket to attend, the parade is free and open to all. Beginning at the Texas State Capitol, the route marches down Congress Avenue, turning right on 4th Street through the Warehouse District. You can expect two emcee stages located throughout the route at the intersection of Congress and 4th, and the Rooftop at Rain!
