Lauren Mayberry and The National teamed up on stage to perform a tribute to the late Frightened Rabbit frontman Scott Hutchison with the song “My Backwards Walk.” The performance took place at Summer Nights at the Bandstand festival in Glasgow, Scotland—the place both CHVRCHES and Frightened Rabbit call home. Hutchison took his own life last year at the age of 36 years old; In his honor, the rest of Frightened Rabbit organized a tribute compilation called Tiny Changes: A Celebration Of The Midnight Organ Fight on which Lauren Mayberry and The National’s Aaron Dessner contributed a cover of “Who’d You Kill Now.” Listen to the song below.
