Just two more sleeps and Jason is off to Europe alongside his two friends and Mama Dick. So far they have no concrete activities scheduled out, but to gauge what they’re interested in Jason wants to check out Wimbledon while in London, some beaches in Barcelona, and smoke some things in Amsterdam. Mind you, Jason is going abroad on a #USAF conquest- United States “AF”, not to be mistaken with the United States Airforce, so if you have any touristy activity recommendations for the Dickman, get at him.

FIREWORKS DAY IN THE USA

Growing up Deb celebrated fireworks day in England, but with the local ban she has yet to purchase any in Texas. She has been looking for some sparklers or small roman candles easy for pedestrians to light in her neighborhood, but since they’re kind of illegal and you can’t just get them at a local convenience store, she has no idea where to find them. Turns out, most fireworks are sold on the outskirts of Austin so looks like Deb may be leaving her Austin bubble for a trip out to small town near you. First stop, Producer Nick’s old stomping grounds- Jarrell, Texas.

DEB’S DIARY

While Deb was on vacation in Mexico with her friends and their kids, she decided to rack up some best friend brownie points and offer up her room. Deb was staying on a floor away from the family, but with her friends staying in rooms with the kids that were also adjacent to both mom-in-laws, Deb stepped up and offered up her keys anytime they needed some alone time. Being friends with parents, Deb knows how hard it can be to get any alone time. Throughout the trip, Deb was sure the keys were used at least a few times so calling all parents, get you a friend like Deb.

I LOVE YOU CALL

Today we called America in Alexandria, VA to see if Deb can get them to say I Love You Too. Deb explained her co-worker was going on vacation to England so she wanted to get him some patriotic clothing so he can stick out like a sore thumb. America had all the graphic tees and flag printed scarfs Deb could think of. Too bad they were all out of love, but at least Deb got a U2. It’s been a bit of a love drought, so we’ll take it.
