Jason’s M&M Fiasco

While he was in Hawaii Jason and his family went to go see a movie. One of Jason’s buddies, Sal met up with Jason and his family in Hawaii. Jason refers to Sal as his “Hawaii ambassador” because Sal was the one to introduce Jason to the joys of Hawaii. Sal was running a little late and asked Jason to get him “M&M’s and a coke.” Jason went to order and the guy at the snack counter asked which kind. Jason assumed peanut, to which his family said that Sal probably meant regular M&M’s. This brought us to the question when someone asks for some M&M’s do they mean regular or peanut? Both Nick and Katy were on the side that they mean the OG M&M’s. Jason thinks they mean peanuts M&M’s since they are the superior M&M.

SXSW Needs Volunteers! 

Today we had Tami the director of event staffing and resources for SXSW in the studio today. It’s that time of year again when SXSW is looking for volunteers to help make the city-wide conference a success. This year it’s a new system where you’ll be able to register and make your schedule completely online! Nick and Katy talked about their time as volunteers. Nick worked as a doorman at several different venues and Katy volunteered at the Ritz for the film festival portion of SXSW. More information on volunteering is available on their website. Definitely consider volunteering especially because you can get a badge depending on how many hours you sign up to volunteer for! Check out the website for more information! 

That Guy 

Don’t be that guy who tells you what someone said about you but won’t tell you who said it guy. Nick told Jason what someone said about him but won’t tell him who said it! Jason’s annoyed because if you’re gonna tell him what was said, you should also tell them who said it. Nick wanted to protect the dignity of the person but also inform Jason about the stuff people are saying about him!
