C OF THE WEEK
This C is a bit unusual because usually, things like this aren’t C’s to Deb, but it’s an owl. There is a new owl that moved into Deb’s neighborhood last winter, and she’s been trying to catch him since he first showed up. Other people in Deb’s neighborhood have heard it as well, but no one has actually seen the owl but Deb. So far the owl has been making Deb feel a bit crazy. It’s real, but even after she went out to get a picture and video her neighbors and even her San Antonio guy aren’t too sure exactly what animal it could be. Because you are making Deb look like a crazy owl lady, whatever you are, you are this week’s C Of The Week.
Jason Is A Salad Guy
We teased there may be a story behind the rare sight of Jason eating some leafy greens yesterday, but according to The Dickman eating a salad is no big deal. In the many years of Jason and Deb, Deb has never seen Jason bring a salad to work, plus Jason’s lunch yesterday was homemade. Although Jason initially decided to prepare a salad to fuel him for his sports podcast, as speculated, that was just step one to reaching his big goal of losing “a quarter inch” before his trip to Europe. After all, no one wants to be the elephant tourist, so 154.2 (kilogram) Jason here we come!
Alfie’s Balls
If you remember, Deb had a bank error not in her favor and had to call on the 
bank of Jason Dick. Not only did Deb announce she had the money to pay Jason back this morning, but she also had a delightful gift. If the specimen in the jar looks familiar, Alfie got snipped yesterday so in this jar is exactly what you think. You’re welcome Jason! If you’re worried about Alfie, no worries, he seems to be his usual self.
