The Raconteurs

The Raconteurs have released a music video for their new song “Help Me Stranger,” which will be featured on the band’s forthcoming album due out June 21st. The video was directed by Yasuhiko Shimizu and was filmed in Kitmitsu, Japan—watch below. The Raconteurs will be hitting the road on their first North American tour in eight years and will be making a stop in Austin for the Austin City Limits Festival happening this October.

The National

The National have dropped their brand new album I Am Easy To Find, which accompanies a short film directed by Mike Mills. The album contains previously released singles “You Had Your Soul with You,” “Light Years,” and “Hairpin Turns.” The new album follows 2017’s Sleep Well Beast and features female vocalists including Sharon Van Etten, Lisa Hannigan, Kate Stables, and others.

The Lumineers

After a three-year hiatus, The Lumineers returned with a new song titled “Gloria.” Today, the Denver-based band is back with a three-song EP Gloria Sparks. The EP includes the recently released song, plus two new tracks which you can listen to below. The Lumineers will be releasing two more EP’s in the months leading up to the release of their third album which is fittingly titled III. The album is due out September 13th via Dualtone.

Lana Del Rey

Lana Del Rey has covered Sublime’s 1997 hit “Doin’ Time,” on behalf of the recently released Sublime Documentary. Listen below. Earlier this, Del Rey shared singled “Venice Bitch” and “Mariners Apartment Complex”—both of which were set to be featured on her brand new album, Norman Fucking Rockwell, which was due out in March. The singer has not spoken of a new release date.

Alex Lahey

Melbourne-based musician Alex Lahey has released her second full-length album The Best of Luck Club via Dead Oceans. The album follows her debut LP I Love You Like a Brother, which was released back in 2017. Listen to the new album below.

Interpol

Following the release of their 2018 LP Marauder, Interpol is back with a brand new EP titled A Fine Mess. The five-track EP is described as “a living, breathing postcard from the band to their fans as they tour the world throughout 2019.” Interpol will be joined by Morrissey for a show at The Frank Erwin Center later this year in September.
