How Do You Like Them Strawberries?

Alfie eating a strawberry.

With Alfie’s sensitive stomach, Deb is extremely cautious with the food that she gives him. You may know he’s known for killer farts, so Deb has been experimenting with new natural foods to lighten the flatulent blows. After seeing a couple of dogs on Instagram eating from a fruit and vegetable garden, Deb gave Alfie his first strawberry. This is just the start to Alfie’s new fruit and veggie diet. Do you have any more fruit and vegetable recommendations for pets?

Turns out, Alfie loves strawberries! See the video of him trying his first strawberry ever below.

JASON’S NON-SPOILER ‘US’ TAKE

So far, ‘Us’ has had the biggest opening weekend ever for an original horror movie, and Jordan Peele’s sophomore feature is already a hit. Jason went to go check it out opening weekend, and although he is a “known ‘Get Out’ hater”, he admitted ‘Us’ was a great movie.

Jason also added that the way the movie was shot and the acting was fantastic. So, if ‘Get Out’ was nominated, ‘Us’ is a shoo-in for lots of awards. Although, with Jordan Peele being known to include hidden messages in his movies, Jason can seem to find the social take on the horror film, if there is one at all.

Check out the trailer of the movie below, and if you get a chance to check it out, let us know if you see a social take.

QUIEN ES MAS MACHO

Every Monday we test Jason’s manliness by comparing his weekend to a listener’s. Today’s listener was Mike, and he started his weekend with a trip down mushroom lane. He spent all day recovering on Saturday after his adventure the night before, and Sunday he helped his kid with a school project. Jason spend all day watching basketball Friday, and Saturday he dedicated the day to gambling. Early Sunday he went to catch ‘Us’ for opening weekend, and later took the sports podcast squad for some quality bonding to the Longhorns game.

We didn’t have time for Deb’s qualifying questions, but Jason even admitted mushrooms to school projects in a weekend is a rarity. Although, you voted, and so far The Dickman’s weekend was mas macho.

I LOVE YOU CALL

Today we called Living Pawsitively in Lafayette Township, NJ to see if Deb can get them to say I Love You Too. Deb explained that she recently adopted a puppy and was looking for a change of food to cut the gas. Luckily, they had freeze dried foods, and a bunch of lines of raw foods for Alfie to sample. Even though Deb shared Alfie’s cute fart story, Living Pawsitively had no love for Deb and she got butt-slammed.

It all started at 20 years old on stage at the NFL draft when my dream came true, and now here I am about to turn 30 in a few months with a decision I feel is the biggest of my life so far. I will be retiring from the game of football today. I am so grateful for the opportunity that Mr. Kraft and Coach Belichick gave to me when drafting my silliness in 2010. My life experiences over the last 9 years have been amazing both on and off the field. The people I have meet, the relationships I have built, the championships I have been apart of, I just want to thank the whole New England Patriots organization for every opportunity I have been giving and learning the great values of life that I can apply to mine. Thank you to all of Pats Nation around the world for the incredible support since I have been apart of this 1st class organization. Thank you for everyone accepting who I am and the dedication I have put into my work to be the best player I could be. But now its time to move forward and move forward with a big smile knowing that the New England Patriots Organization, Pats Nation, and all my fans will be truly a big part of my heart for rest of my life. It was truly an incredible honor to play for such a great established organization and able to come in to continue and contribute to keep building success. To all my current and past teammates, thank you for making each team every year special to be apart of. I will truly miss you guys. Cheers to all who have been part of this journey, cheers to the past for the incredible memories, and a HUGE cheers to the uncertain of whats next.
