Today’s catch of the day comes from Harley Streten aka Flume. It’s been since 2016 since we got new music from the Australian electronic producer & musician. This past week he surprised us all by dropping what he calls a mixtape, which is more of an experimental project and possibly a hint into the future of his new sound. He also promises that there will be a new Flume album out later this year, and was recently named to the Lollapalooza lineup this summer. The name of today’s catch is called “Jewel“, off the Hi This Is Flume – Mixtape, and this is what he has to say about it…
“Hi This Is Flume.
I made a mixtape with some of my favorite artists.
It’s 38 minutes of music, with a visualizer created by Jonathan Zawada.
We hope you enjoy :)”
This is a fantastic mixtape, which showcases 17 new tracks from Flume. The album has been praised by both critics and fellow musicians as well.
