Happy Friday! Get ready for your weekend with a recap of some awesome music that came out this week!
Foals
Foals returned with a new track this week titled “Exits.” The song will be featured on the album Everything Not Saved Will Be Lost Part 1, which is set to be released March 8th according to the band’s social media—Part 2 is due in autumn. This is the Foals’ first album since the release of What Went Down back in 2015.
Florence + The Machine
Just yesterday, Florence + The Machine unveiled two new tracks via Beats 1. The two tracks titled “Moderation” and “Haunted House” carry different emotions, but prove that Florence Welch cannot go wrong when it comes to experimenting with different sounds and tempos. For “Moderation,” the band teamed up with producer James Ford, while for “Haunted House” they teamed up with Matthew Daniel Siskin.
X Ambassadors
In the spirit of the weekend, X Ambassadors’ have released a new song for us to groove to! The song “Boom” tells the story of walking away from someone you love—but instead of crying about it, frontman Sam Harris wants you to dance about it. The song was produced by Ricky Reed, and is set to appear on X Ambassadors’ second LP, which is due out later this year. This will be the first album since the trio’s debut VHS back in 2015.
