The Strokes Confirm First 2019 Tour Dates

The Strokes have confirmed their first tour date in 2019 headlining Bilbao BBK Live Festival in Bilbao, Spain. This is their first live performance since 2017 and is said to mark the beginning of a “global comeback”.

Although the band has been on a break for the past few years, members have kept busy. Frontman Julian Casablanca released Virtue with his side project The Voidz earlier this year. The Voidz spent the majority of 2018, evening opening some shows for Beck and Phoenix. Guitarist Albert Hammond Jr. also released his fourth solo album Francis Trouble this year which was inspired by his twin brother that died in utero.

We also had the pleasure of catching up with Albert Hammond Jr. in Novemeber when he joined 101x at Scoot Inn for an X-Session, which you can find here.
