Today’s catch comes from the 24 year old electro-soul singer Billie Black…not to be confused with Billie Eilish. I actually played music from her debut EP several years ago, which pre-dates Eilish. Anyways, Billie Black is from West London where she has been making her music that covers R&B, electronic, and jazz. She just released a brand new EP called The Last Time, and on it I chose the beautiful “Long Way To Go” as my catch. This song has so much emotion, ambience, and drama, which is in full effect when the strings kick in. If you are into Jessie Ware, Banks, FKA Twigs, and Jorja Smith, then you will for sure fall in love with her.
