Calling all service industry people, Jason has a question. On Friday, Jason and Mama Dick went out on a dinner date after attending the taping of Pod Save America. They split fajitas for two at one of Austin’s “fine eateries”, ordered chips and queso, Jason got a beer and Mama Dick got some cactus juice. When the check showed up Jason noticed the bill was a little high, but proceeded to fill it out. When he went to sign and leave a tip, he noticed that there was an added gratuity and on top of that it was eighteen percent. Usually gratuity is only for fifteen percent and added to bigger parties, so he wondered why they thought it was necessary to grat a party of two. Jason took to the listeners and self-determined that he and his mom must have been grated because he “seems like a no tip risk”.
QUIEN ES MAS MACHO
Every Monday we test Jason’s manliness by comparing his weekend to a listener’s. Today’s listener was Jesse, and during his macho weekend he cut a tree that feel on his fence and made wood out of it, barbequed ribs, drank beer and watched some football.
On Friday, Jason started his weekend by going to a taping of Pod Save America with Mama Dick, and finished up his Mom date at Iron Cactus. Saturday he jumped on some trampolines at Altitude Trampoline Park in Round Rock, and defeated Nick in joust and later went to see Toadies. Sunday, the Dickman woke up bright and early to make some wings before watching football and spending time with his friend Kenny and his baby.
Since Deb was out today, Nick asked qualifying questions. The listener Jesse didn’t wrangle any critters, but letting his dog out without a fence became a task without a fence so it kind of counts, and he worked with an axe. Jason on the other hand only started a fire by grilling wings at Kenny’s house although he didn’t crush a small child with his girth. A listener called in to vote and today Jesse was mas macho.

I LOVE YOU CALL
Today’s I Love You Call was a Best Of from the time we called Lafayette Bank And Trust Co. in Remington, Indiana. Deb called to ask about setting up a checking account for a child, and after Jason accidently pressed the wrong buttons and being put on hold for a bit, it all paid off. After saying I Love You multiple times throughout their conversation, this call ended in an epic I Love You Too.
