The Best Mum A Dog Could Ever Have

Deb's dog Blue with his leg amputated laying on a bed and sleeping.

After a day without Blue, Deb brought him home from his surgeon yesterday afternoon. She was excited her partner in crime was back by her side, but a little sad by the sight of his amputated leg. As you may already know, Blue had to get his left rear leg amputated due to bone cancer, so Deb took the day to spend some time with her Blue boy.

Fortunately unlike humans, the recovery for dogs is a lot less somber, and Blue’s surgeon expects him to be healed and back to his playful self in no time. As Blue is getting used to the change, Deb noticed he is having a bit of a confused time pooing or peeing without squatting or lifting up his leg, but he is still asking to go outside and walking just fine. A few friends of Deb have already stopped by and shed tears for Blue, and looks like George has also joined in comforting his big bro.

Thank you all for the positive messages today! Blue and Deb, we’re wishing for the best.

I LOVE YOU CALL

Today’s I Love You Call was a Best Of from the time we called Mac’s Pet Depot in Milwaukee, WI. On top of getting an I Love You Too, Deb shared some precious stories and memories of Blue and Mac’s Pet Depot was excited to hear about such a personable pet. If only they knew Blue… we love you too, Deb!

DEAR REDACTED

Every now and then Jason and Deb let Producer Nick vent with a segment we call Dear Redacted.

Even though Nick says he enjoys onions on burgers, he wants everyone to know he doesn’t want the entire slice. According to Nick, Whataburger does it right with the tiny chopped onions, but if you’re a burger joint putting more than three or four onions max on one burger, you’re doing it all wrong.

Last but not least, if you are playing a video game and using a weird glitch during a speed run to bypass something, you’re not a real speed runner. Glitching does NOT count as speed running and it isn’t even legit.
