Jason spent about five percent of his Tesla money yesterday. Maybe he was being generous, or maybe he just got-got. In case you’re wondering, this was a totally sober decision but now he wishes he would have made it after a couple of drinks. It also felt like the right thing to do at the time, but now he’s not so sure.
If you have followed along with Jason’s pool saga, he told us a couple of months ago that his pool was paid off. Although, it turns out there was actually a piece of debt that still needed to be squared off.
When Jason initially started building his pool, he had to knock down the fence of the elder lady behind him. He knew the construction would take place between both yards, so he had a contract-agreement set in place with his neighbor and he was very accommodating, because he knew without her there would be no pool. Jason started off by paying her a thousand dollars for her inconvenience, five-hundred for the extra days she had no fence, and Mama Dick even help build up a part of her yard.
Jason thought all of these things had already sealed the deal, but months after the lady came back and complained that her drive way was messed up by the construction. Jason had pictures to prove it wasn’t the construction of the pool that caused the damage, but she was just a “nice old lady” who made his pool dreams come true. Well, it’s officially in the books and Jason’s nice eighty-four year old neighbor lady now has a new four-thousand dollar driveway.
DEB TRIES TO DO A GOOD DEED
Deb felt like a dick after she forgot Nick’s birthday, so she was excited to do Meals On Wheels to at least do some good for the world. For the last few months, Deb had been trying to convince one of her favorite ladies on her route to get some new glasses. She hasn’t been able to read, so Deb thought it would be a great idea, and she finally agreed to let her take her.
They first went to the eye glasses store by the Hancock HEB, but after what seemed like a hike to the store and limited handicapped accessibility, they didn’t accept Medicaid or Medicaid. They found another place and set off to the second destination, but the same thing happened, she was denied. After three hours, and many phone calls, they headed back home. All Deb was trying to do is a good deed, and after a long day and driving all over town nothing was achieved. Guess who will be getting some strongly worded phone calls today?
I LOVE YOU CALL
Today we called Bagelsaurus in Boston, MA to see if Deb could get them to say I Love You Too. Deb asked if they had any vegan cream cheese so she could make sure she had plenty of options for the office, and they did indeed have vegan options and Deb’s favorite everything bagels. Even after Deb shared her excitement for everything bagels and vegan cream cheese, Bagelsaurus had no love for Deb today.
