Yesterday Deb told us all about her birthday weekend, and how she had to rush out of the Texas game after a call from her neighbors that there were two cats under her car and one of them was George.
The street cat George was hanging with was tiny and cute, but left a massive cut on Deb’s hand when she tried to rescue him from underneath the car. After a day and a half of catch the cat and what seemed like a bite from a viscous cougar, Deb proceeded to try and rescue or at least feed the feline.
Deb set out the raccoon trap she borrowed from a friend, put food and a blanket inside, and this time it actually worked! Although, when she got home she saw the cat entered the trap and ate the food, but escaped once again until later in her backyard she saw Blue with the kitten cornered.
Deb’s instincts kicked in, and she grabbed the empty plant pots behind her, plopped the empty pot on top of the stray cat, grabbed the trap and slide it under to catch that cat. Well, he escaped once again! Deb put out more food and the same comfy trap, but he’s surely now too afraid of the trap, Deb or Blue.
After her first attack, Deb is just a bit afraid now, but still aims to catch that cat. Also, after getting the stray his shots, rehabilitating and winning him over, she decided the cat will be Jason’s.
Finger update: Deb went to see a doctor, and although the cat bite could possibly be infected, her hand for the most part should be fine.
DEB’S DIARY
Yesterday Deb had a breakdown on the show, and had everyone crying in their cars. Blue has been doing well despite his recent diagnosis, and he has been weighing heavily on Deb’s mind lately. All Deb wanted to do on her birthday was spend time with Blue boy, and after his cat scan she is still awaiting the final results.
Blue has nerve and disc damage, and his doctors recently found a tumor on one of his adrenal glands that has been causing pain and mobility on only three legs. In Blue’s condition, the next step, depending on results, would be surgery. Also after his results come in, Deb will know if he has one out of three tumors that usually occur with dogs, and is hoping he will come out with the least benign so the growth won’t reoccur or cause any more painful effects.
Deb won’t receive any final results until later this afternoon, but the best case scenario would the least benign diagnoses and leg surgery so Blue can be back to his playful self.
Deb want’s everyone to please cross all fingers and toes for the best course of action, and hopefully tomorrow’s update will be good news.
I LOVE YOU CALL
Today we called B Bistro and Bakery in Miami, FL for some tasty pastries. Deb started off the conversation by asking if they had any vegetarian friendly options or serve alcohol, and B Bistro said they have both for Deb. Although they had alcohol and lot of vegetarian Mexican pastries for Deb to choose from, B Bistro was all out of love and Deb got butt slammed.
