Today’s catch comes from dance music royalty that originated in the mid-90’s…The Crystal Method. Yes, the Las Vegas electronic act is still at it and doing it better than ever. The song I picked is a beautiful, ambient, and theatrical new tune called “Chapter One (ft. Teflon Sega)“. It will be on their upcoming LP The Trip Home, which is due out on 9/28. Now I’ve had the chance to listen to the entire album, and I have to say that it’s one of TCM’s best in the past 21 years. Surprisingly, it’s a lot more chilled out than any of their other records. They will also be embarking on a US tour with a stop here at Empire Control Room on 10/26. You can watch a trailer for this tour in the YouTube player below.
