As you know, Jason and Deb have both been having issues with their AC. Yesterday, AC Repair Man number two came over to check out Deb’s unit and the verdict was, it was definitely broken. Since Deb has a fancy renovated house with add-ons and extensions, the only way to get to the AC was to climb into a small covered crevice. There were no small children around at the time, so the AC Repair Man tried to stick his head through the hole, but he had no luck. Deb worried the AC issue had grown into spending thousands and the need for contractors, and carpenters to get through to the console. Luckily for Deb, the problem was just a problem with a pipe outside. AC Repair Man number two pressed a nozzle, applied pressure, then there was a poof and some dribbles of water and Deb’s AC was fixed. Turns out all someone had to do was blow some air into her pipe hole.
C OF THE WEEK
Every Friday Deb picks out someone or something to be her C Of The Week. Sometimes it’s a jovial C and sometimes it’s a legitimate C. Today’s C was whoever dirtied one side of her car. After leaving work yesterday, Deb looked out the window and noticed the windows were super dirty. Not rain drop dirty, dirty rag dirty. So, she sprayed some water on the windshield but it only made the passenger side of her car worse. Her car was recently washed at the dealership so she was surprised by how grimy the windows still were. When she got home, she took a look at her car and noticed that the whole passenger side like someone took a dirty wet rag and wiped her door and window. She even saw the swipe marks! This bothered Deb so much she almost considered going to the car wash, and we know how she feels about car wash lines. Whoever you are, going around dirtying one side of people’s car, you are the C of the week.
NICK IS “DEBT FREE’
Yesterday Producer Nick texted everyone that he paid off his car and he is now “debt free”. Regular listeners will know Nick has some interesting takes on financial responsibility, so this actually means he has some debts he has written off and he just doesn’t pay them. So when Nick says he is debt free from paying his car loans, that isn’t counting the bunch of other debts he has no intention of paying back. Deb wanted to bring in New Producer Imari so she could see some of Nick’s financial philosophies. Since she is a recent graduate and will have all of these adult responsibilities soon, she wanted her to learn from now what not to do. Congratulations to Producer Nick for being debt free… ish!
I LOVE YOU CALL
Today we called Aviator Golf Center in Brooklyn, New York to see if they had any golf clubs and bar Deb could check out while she was on vacation. The guy from Aviator Golf Center said they did have clubs to rent but the establishment was BYOB on the “DL”. Deb loved his New York accent and even said she would share a beer with him, but the guy from Aviator Golf did not feel the same and had no love for Deb today.
