Monty’s catch of the day is a brand new collaboration between electronic musician Mura Masa & London rapper Octavian. The name of the track is “Move Me“, and is the first release from Mura Masa (aka Alex Crossan) since last year’s self-titled debut album. Not only was the LP in my “Best Albums of 2017” list, but it was also nominated for 2 Grammy awards (Best Dance/Electronic Album & Best Recording Package). “Move Me” is a very solid fusing of both rap and electronic without getting cheesy. What really impresses me about the song is its ability to keep up a high energy with the hard beats and bpm while at the same time keeping it chill with the vocals, bassline, and electronic programming.
