We’ve Been Talking About These Dishes…

Big news! We’re now live on your radio all the way until noon. You can still get us on your smart home assistant listening box thing (just tell Alexa and Google to play Jason and Deb). Or you can just download the 101X app on your phone and stream us from there! And there’s always the good old podcast.

Deb’s Diary

Deb’s been dealing with a busted dishwasher for a while now, and it’s been an ongoing issue with her San Antonio guy about doing the dishes. But he may have totally redeemed himself after finding a sweet deal on a new dishwasher at Home Depot.  The model they ended up with would normally cost over $1200, but with some shrewd O’Keefe negotiating (and a discount for being a floor model) there is now a working dishwasher in Deb’s kitchen.

I Love You Call

As a sign of the times, we’ve pivoted the I Love You Call from calling random business to calling your loved ones who might need an extra boost in these trying times. Today we called one of Deb’s besties, Erica.  She’s a math teacher and even though she lives super close to Deb, they haven’t seen each other in weeks. Which is exactly why we’re doing the I Love You Calls this way these days. If you’ve got someone you think needs some extra love these days, let us know and we’ll give them a call too!

Good News For Twilight Fans

Stephanie Meyer is releasing a “new” Twilight book for fans to enjoy. Midnight Sun tells the story of the original books, but from the point of view of Edward Cullen. It was supposed to have been released years ago, but Meyer put it on ice because it was partially leaked on the internet. But now it’s finally getting its chance to sparkle in the sun. Hooray.

Gary Busey: Pet Judge

It’s premiering May 25th on Amazon Prime.  Here’s the details if you really need context for this.

Daily Morale Boosters

Apparently everyone’s been going crazy for homemade pancake cereal, so naturally it was only a matter of time before the waffle-lovers out there got in on the fun.

Here are the best news bloopers of April.  The highlights include a reporter setting her hair on fire at 2:02, a mom being interrupted by her kids at 4:05, and a cat that doesn’t want to cooperate at 6:28.

Daily Jason And Deb

The Circuit of the Americas is doing a cool charity fundraiser this Sunday where you can donate to the Central Texas Food Bank and get to ride around the track in your own car. It made us think of the time Deb got to ride around the track on the back of a MotoGP bike.

CoronaChaos

If you’re not into driving around a track you can still just donate to the Central Texas Food Bank the old fashioned way.
