Big news! We’re now live on your radio all the way until noon. You can still get us on your smart home assistant listening box thing (just tell Alexa and Google to play Jason and Deb). Or you can just download the 101X app on your phone and stream us from there! And there’s always the good old podcast.
Shortest Jobs
Recently Jason was reminded of the time he and Deb got Producer Nick a job at a friend’s bar, and it took less than two weeks before he called in sick and never went back. This sparked a conversation about what is the shortest amount of time you’ve worked a job. Between the three of us Deb won for only lasting two hours in a carrot factory as a teenager. Jason showed the most loyalty by selling Cutco knives for a whole month back in college. Let us know what’s the briefest you’ve ever been employed.
We Love You
As a sign of the times, we’ve pivoted the I Love You Call from calling random business to calling your loved ones who might need an extra boost in these trying times. Today we called Producer Nick’s Aunt Melissa, who is his favorite aunt. She works for the federal courthouse and just started going back to work in June. Luckily she’s about to pull the plug on retirement so woohoo! If you’ve got someone you think needs some extra love these days, let us know!

Daily Morale Boosters
Emmanuel Acho is more than just a former Longhorn football player, and he’s creating some very powerful videos on race. It is well worth your time watching.

This Is Not Good Video
Once upon a time the boss threw a studio chair at Jason for playing The Memory Remains by Metallica in its entirety. Not because it’s bad, just too damn long for radio. Since he is now “unfireable”, we dared him to do it again. Also he called out his friend, Kenny, for being That Guy. Tune in tomorrow at 10:15 when we call Kenny for the I Love You Call and see if he’s still got love for the Dickman.
