Matt Berninger | Serpentine Prison

The National’s frontman Matt Berninger is set to release his debut solo album. Serpentine Prison will be out October 2. The artist has released the album’s title track along with a second preview. The new song is called “Distant Axis.” Berninger teamed up with The Walkmen’s Walter Martin on co-writing the new track. A new music video was also released, which was directed by Berninger and his brother Tom. Check out “Distant Axis” below.

 

Hayley Williams | Cover of Bjork’s “Unison”

Paramore frontwoman Hayley Williams is back with another quarantine cover. The artist, who released her first solo album this year, recently covered Bjork’s track “Unison.” The acoustic rendition was recorded in Williams’ home and wrote on Twitter, “I’d actually hoped to cover a different song of hers live this year, but I guess that will have to wait until some other time, anyway, this one has to be in my top 5.” Watch below.

Yungblud | Strawberry Lipstick

Yungblud has released a new music video for his punk-rock track “Strawberry Lipstick.” The British punk star rocks red spiked-hair, struts the UK flag in all his outfits, and of course, enjoys a few juicy strawberries. Watch the music video below.
