We’ve only been back for three days but apparently that’s already long enough for Producer Nick to have beef with Jason. Jason has a habit of borrowing pens from Nick’s office when prepping for his sports show on the old guy station, and then walking off with them. Nick even found a bunch of promotional pens from one of our sister stations for Jason to use, but those are all gone too. Jason tried to “pen” the blame on fellow producer Spenny, but Nick is adamant he knows who the true culprit is.
In addition to his pen problem, it seems Nick has taken umbrage with a McDonald’s commercial he keeps seeing. It’s the one where some fishermen are hassling their greenhorn about forgetting to get extra napkins. Nick is a known extra napkin user so you would think he’d empathize, but evidently the blatant manufacturing of a reason to criticize and underling keeps triggering his PTDD. Post-traumatic Dickman disorder. It also may have something to do with how Nick is the only one who ever bothers to restock the studio’s supply of napkins…

Christmas Music In January Guy, don’t be That Guy. Last Sunday, Jason stopped at a convenience store and was stunned when he heard, “It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas…” start playing. Except it’s not, Christmas is over and Jason has already declared victory. And it wasn’t just a one off song because Mariah Carey came on next. We get that December 25th to New Year’s is a grey area, but January 3rd? Time to swap out that Christmas CD already.
