Today Jason shared a story about something that happened to him that took a whole year for the shame to subside enough to for him to talk about on the radio. Before last year’s Christmas trip to Hawaii, Jason stopped off in Las Vegas for a poker tournament and did quite well for himself. So when he got to Hawaii he was walking the around with a significant wad of cash in his pockets. You probably see where this is going. He stopped at a grocery store on the way to the AirBnB, and between juggling bags of food and rental car keys, he managed to drop that wad of cash in the parking lot and drive off. Of course by the time he realized it and returned to look for it there was no sign. Since Jason has a degen brain and it was bonus money already, he was able to rationalize it a wash. How much was it you ask? Oh just $7000. No biggie for Mr. Relatable.
TBTwJnD: Boy 101
Back when Deb first started working for 101X, we did a series of segments called Boy 101 where Deb learned how to do various “boy tasks”. While we’d never do something so gender normative in 2021, that doesn’t mean we can’t look back in time and remark how Deb was all about shattering glass ceilings from the very beginning.
