Foo Fighters | Medicine At Midnight
The moment we’ve all been waiting for has arrived. Foo Fighters released their 10th studio album Medicine At Midnight.
The band had a pretty unique experience when it came to making the album. Dave Grohl and the gang headed to an abandoned home in Encino, California to create the new material. Little did they know the house they chose to stay in was haunted.
In an interview with NME, Grohl discussed some of the spooky moments that occurred in the home. “We would come back to the studio the next day and all of the guitars would be detuned. We would open up a Pro Tools session and tracks would be missing. There were some tracks that were put on there that we didn’t put on there.” Yikes. Eventually the band decided to hide a baby monitor in the studio in hopes of catching footage of the culprit. They did. Turns out, there’s some intense history in that house. And unfortunately, the band can’t disclose any of it.
“I had to sign a fucking non-disclosure agreement with the landlord because he’s trying to sell the place. So, I can’t give away what happened there in the past but these multiple occurrences over a short period of time made us finish the album as quickly as we could,” said Grohl. Those chilling moments prompted the rock band to finish the album “as quickly as [they] could.”
Over the past few months the Seattle group dropped singles from the anticipated album, including “Shame Shame,” “No Son Of Mine” and “Waiting On A War.” Hear those tracks and more below.

The New York City group collaborated with the band Goose and jazz composer-producer Sam Gendel to create two new remixes that last for 21 minutes and 21 seconds, equaling to “42:42.” Gendel’s take on the track has a futuristic feel to it, while Goose shifts to a more soulful sound, with the guitar making a prominent appearance.
Check out both versions below.

Imagine Hayley Williams walking up to your front door to deliver an unreleased track, and then gives you her blessing to leak the new song? Well, it happened to one (pretty lucky) fan.
The Paramore frontwoman personally went to a fan’s home to deliver a CD with the track “My Limb” on the night of January’s full moon, aka Wolf Moon.

Pretty cool experience if you ask us. The singer went all out for the special delivery, even making her dog wear a cape for the adventure.

Weezer | All My Favorite Songs
Weezer said a new album’s on the way, and they’re showing us a sneak peek of the forthcoming project. The single’s called “All My Favorite Songs,” and the new album’s titled OK Human.
This will be Weezer’s 14th studio album. It’ll be their first since their self-titled album, aka Black Album, from 2019. The upcoming LP definitely comes as a surprise considering that they’ll be releasing another album, Van Weezer, in May 2021. The band tweeted about the creation of OK Human and the inspiration behind using instruments that connected them to the past.
“During the summer of COVID-19 we grabbed our masks, hit the studio & began to chip away at what is now known as OK Human. An album that was made by a handful of humans using only analog technologies (including a 38 piece orchestra) for all of you humans to consume.” No loops, hi-tech sounds, or even electric guitar were used for the group’s surprise album.
OK Human was made at a time when humans-playing-instruments was a thing of the past. All we could do is look back on ancient times when humans really mattered and when the dark tech-takeover fantasy didn’t exist.
— weezer (@Weezer) January 21, 2021
A press release revealed that OK Human is inspired by The Beach Boys’ 11th studio album Pet Sounds. The new album is due out January 29. Along with the album’s first single is a new music video, which you can watch below.
