Daft Punk have officially called it quits. Over the last week several tributes and playlists have popped up but many are missing some of my favorite undercover gems. Here are 7 essential Daft Punk songs that you should also have included on your playlist (at least until they return with a huge reunion tour and new music in 2022).
Doin’ It Right ft. Panda Bear
Grammy award winning Random Access Memories had so many huge hits (namely Get Lucky) that many good songs were overshadowed. This actually happens to be my favorite from RAM.

Other great song overshadowed by a monster on the same album. This might be one of my favorite all time Daft Punk non-hits.

Ultra chill and in the mood song for making out – making out with robots that is!
Veridis Quo
Just a really light and relaxing beat that always puts me in a whimsical mood.
Instant Crush ft. Julian Casablancas
Not really an undercover gem but still overshadowed by Get Lucky and Lose Yourself to Dance for sure. This weird one gets even weirder but more awesome with Julian Casablancas mumbling vocals.

33 million views on YouTube and so many artists have used this in samples yet it was, again, another song overshadowed by bigger hits and left off many lists I found.
