Our dear Matt Bearden is in the hospital today, but we don’t feel right saying exactly what’s going on with him until he returns. As far as we know, things are gonna be okay for him, but he’s gonna be missing from JM&CJ for a little bit. Might be gone next episode (because we want him to rest up and feel better), but he’ll be back soon enough. Sexier and healthier than ever. Send him some love @MattBearden on your socials. 

Regardless, we try to have fun in today’s episode. Our first important decision was finding somebody cool to fill in for Matt, so we invited the illustrious cohost of the Morning X – Emily Svahn!! 

Hell of a fun episode today despite our missing man, but Emily made it easy for us. CJ brings in a ton of fun stories, Spenny finds an interesting discovery made in Nebraska for the Nerd Report, and Em gets a heavy grilling concerning her radio firsts since she’s pretty new. First listener hookup? First abusive troll? Etc. The entertainment industry can be a real pain sometimes, but Em dishes it all out for us on the show.
