Arcade Fire are set to be the musical guest on Saturday Night Live on May 7th. The episode will be hosted by Benedict Cumberbatch.
This will be the group’s fifth time taking the stage as the show’s musical guest; they performed back in 2007, 2010, 2013, and 2018.

The band surprised fans just last week with a Coachella performance, announcing their appearance one day before they took the stage. The surprises didn’t stop there. Arcade Fire debuted a new song during their performance on Friday, April 15 called “Unconditional I (Lookout Kid).” The track is part of Arcade Fire’s upcoming album WE, which will be released next month on May 6.
