On Sunday, Nov. 17th, many of the biggest names in the music industry gathered in downtown Los Angeles for the American Music Awards. Among those who took the stage to perform were 101X favorites Green Day and Billie Eilish.

Billie Eilish’s fiery performance of “all the good girls go to hell” marked the 17-year old’s award show performance debut along with her brother, Finneas. Watch the performance below. Eilish ended the night by taking home two awards out of the six categories she was nominated for, including Best New Artist of the Year and Favorite Alternative Rock Artist.

Green Day took the AMA’s stage to perform the title track from their forthcoming album Father of All… along with their classic hit “Basket Case” in celebration of the 25th anniversary of their iconic record, Dookie. The California rockers were introduced by big-time fan, Billie Eilish, who if you recall, hung out with Billie Joel Armstrong earlier this year for an episode of Rolling Stone’s “Musicians on Musicians.” Before the award show began, Green Day spoke with Billboard about their upcoming Hella Mega Tour with Weezer and Fall Out Boy and performed a surprise acoustic rendition of “she.” Watch below.

The Hella Mega Tour kicks off June 13th, 2020. The tour will make a stop in Houston, TX on August 1st. Tickets are on sale now.
