It’s happening guys: Weezer, Fall Out Boy, and Green Day have announced that they are teaming up for the “Hella Mega” stadium tour kicking off in 2020. Presented by Harley Davidson, the tour will kick things off on June 13th in Paris and make its way to the U.S the following month with The Interrupters as support. In addition to the announcement, each band also shared brand new music to mark the occasion.
Green Day shared a new song titled “Father Of All…” which will be featured on their upcoming album which shares the same name. The album is due out February 7th of next year and, according to Billie Joe Armstrong, is the shortest record they’ve ever made.
Fall Out Boy released a song featuring Wyclef Jean titled “Dear Future (Hands Up),” which was recorded for their upcoming Greatest Hits: Believers Never Die – Volume Two set to be released in November; FOB released Part One back in November of 2009.
Weezer shared the single “The End Of The Game” from their upcoming metal-influenced album Van Weezer, which arrives next May. The new album follows Weezer’s Black Album and Teal Album, which were both released earlier this year.
All three bands also announced that they will be playing an intimate show at the historic Whisky A Go Go tonight (Sept. 10th) in celebration of the “mega” announcement.
Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, September 20th at 10 a.m. via ticketmaster.com. Find tour dates below.
