HAAM Day 2019

HAAM Day, Tuesday September 24 2019

As an organization, the Health Alliance for Austin Musicians (HAAM) aims to provide access to affordable healthcare for Austin’s low-income working musicians, with a focus on prevention and wellness. Since 2005, HAMM has helped over 4,900 musicians access over 56,000 healthcare appointments including eye exams, dental work, psychiatric counseling sessions, out-patient procedures, and more.

Tuesday, September 24th is HAAM Day—a day that brings all of Austin together to celebrate keeping our local musicians alive and well. Across town, businesses and music venues host over 200 performances from local musicians and donate a portion of their daily sales to support HAAM. Last year, Austinites helped raise over $565,000 for Austin’s musicians; this year, join HAAM and help them reach their goal of $610,000. Find participating businesses & events taking place all around Austin in the HAAM Day 2019 Event Guide.
