In a recently deleted post, Lana Del Rey took to Instagram to announce the release of a new song set for January 9th. The song, “Hope Is a Dangerous Thing For a Woman Like Me to Have-But I Have It,” is likely to be included in the LP Norman Fucking Rockwell along with previously released songs “Mariners Apartment Complex” and “Venice Beach.” Del Rey teamed up with Jack Antonoff for this project and revealed in an Instagram Live broadcast on December 30th that the album is “completely finished.”
Along with the new album, Lana stated that she has completed a “short book of poems” which was teased back in September as being titled Bent Backwards Over the Grass.
This is Lana Del Rey’s 6th studio album and follows Lust For Life, which was released back in 2017.
