Coldplay has confirmed that they will be releasing a double album, Everyday Life, on November 22nd via Parlophone/Atlantic Records. The album will be divided into two halves: Sunrise and Sunset. “[The album] is our reaction to the perceived negativity that’s everywhere,” explained frontman Chris Martin in a recent interview. “There is a lot of trouble, but there’s also so much positivity and so much great life happening. So in a way, it’s just trying to make sense of things, saying what we feel and what we see.”
To accompany the exciting news, the British group also dropped two new singles from the 16-track album, “Orphans” and “Arabesque.” Both singles were produced by The Dream Team, with additional contributions from Stromae and Femi Kuti on “Arabesque.” Listen to the new songs below.
