Incubus | Trust Fall (Side B)
Incubus dropped an EP, Trust Fall (Side B) – a sequel to their 2015 Trust Fall (Side A) release. The new work has five songs and two of them, “Our Love” and “Into the Summer,” were previously released in addition to “Karma, Come Back,” “On Without Me,” and “Paper Cuts.” Currently, Incubus’ summer tour with 311 in July is still set to go on schedule. Their Austin show, set to happen on July 29th, has not been canceled just yet. Tickets are available to purchase here. This is the first time the two have toured together in 20 years. Florence and the Machine | Light of Love
The dark days are over! Florence and the Machine released a new song “Light of Love.” The single originally during sessions for 2018s High As Hope, but fortunately came out now when many fans need encouragement more than ever. All proceeds from the song will benefit the Intensive Care Society for healthcare professionals working on the front lines of the pandemic. Stream “Light of Love” below.
The Big Thief | Demos Vol. 1 – Topanga Canyon, CA- Feb 2018
The Big Thief delivered us new heat, for a good cause with their latest EP Demos Vol. 1 – Topanga Canyon, CA – Feb 2018. As depicted in the title, the songs on the work come from a February 2018 cabin trip in Topanga where the group recorded over 30 songs. Although the EP isn’t available to stream in its entirety, you can buy it here and support the band’s touring crew while easing your cabin fever.
Fiona Apple | Fetch the Bolt Cutters
If you apple-solutely love Fiona Apple, then you’ll be excited to know that after eight long years she finally released a new album titled Fetch the Bolt Cutters. In tempo with Apple’s deliberate pace, she recorded this album over several years from LA home with percussion tracks made from household items including rubber bands and oil cans. In an interview with New Yorker, she said, “Really, what it’s about is not being afraid to speak.” Stream her album below.
Radiohead’s Ed O’brien | Earth
Radiohead’s guitarist Ed O’Brien, gifted us a new solo album release Earth. The inspiration for the album comes from a time O’Brien spent a year living on a farm in Brazil where he said he experienced “an explosion of light, melody, rhythm and love.” This is his first solo LP and you can stream it below.
