Tame Impala
Tame Impala has granted fans one last sneak peek at their upcoming album The Slow Rush with the new song “Lost In Yesterday.” Listen below. The new album is due out on February 14th (Valentine’s Day) and will feature 12 tracks including previously released singles “Posthumous Forgiveness,” “It Might Be Time,” and “Borderline.” This is the first album from the Australian psych-rock band since 2015’s Currents. Tame Impala will soon embark on a tour in support of the forthcoming album with stops in Houston, Dallas, and Austin’s Frank Erwin Center in July. Kevin Parker and co. will also headline a few festivals this year, including Governors Ball and Bonnaroo.
Tennis
Husband-wife duo Tennis has shared a new single from their forthcoming album Swimmer, which is due out February 14th this year. The new single is titled “Need Your Love,” and along with their previously released single “Runner,” it is the first new music from the team in almost three years. Joywave
Joywave has announced the release of their third studio album Possession, arriving on March 13th. To celebrate the announcement, the Rochester-based band released a new single titled “Half Your Age.” Listen below. Other songs featured on the album include “Like A Kennedy” and “Mr. Eastman.” Joywave will hit the road starting April 18th in support of the new album with a stop in both Dallas and Austin. Tickets are on sale now.
