Phoenix unveiled a new song titled “Identical.”
This is the French band’s latest release since their 2017 full-length album Ti Amo and 2018 single “Monologue,” a song they shared for Record Store Day. The new track is featured in the trailer of the upcoming film On The Rocks, starring Bill Murray and Rashida Jones. “Identical” will also be appearing in the closing credits.
Additionally, Phoenix wrote the score and constructed the soundtrack for On The Rocks.The simple music video was filmed on an iPhone, and it captures a single vertical-shot of a Phoenix sweatshirt in flames.
The new film will hit theaters and be available to watch on Apple TV+ in October. Watch the trailer below.
