You totally get all of that with “Wild,” and the black-and-white official music video definitely strengthens the band’s description of the track. Ben Chappell and Brook Linder directed the unrefined-western visual. The music video carries a fictitious feel as you witness frontman Britt Daniel strutting along a highway by himself. “‘Wild’ needed to feel like a myth, or at least illustrate the myth-making process in some odd way. We used the old ways – crude in-camera techniques – to hit this uncanny western film note,” said director Brook Linder.
Let’s not forget about that western-wear. Watch Daniel rock cowboy boots and hat throughout his journey in Spoon’s latest music video for their new single “Wild” below.
The band dropped their first single from Lucifer on the Sofa called “The Hardest Cut” back in November 2021. Lucifer on the Sofa hits streaming platforms on February 11.

It’ll be available to stream all month long, along with other curated playlists highlighting Bowie’s career.
