There’s nothing that compares to waking up to new music on a Friday morning. Not only does it give you something to look forward to throughout the week, but it gives you something to help make the workday go by quicker and the weekend come faster. Today we’re sharing three new releases that you should definitely be listening to (if you aren’t already) on this New Music Friday!
Spoon
Austin-based band Spoon has finally shared their highly anticipated “Best Of” album Everything Hits At Once. The album was meticulously curated by frontman Britt Daniel and includes hits we know and love like “The Underdog” and “The Way We Get By,” as well as their newest single “No Bullet Spent.” The album is much more than just a greatest hits album—it serves as a guide for new fans by introducing them to some of Spoon’s best hits, while also giving current Spoon fans a compilation of their favorite songs that is both memorable and tangible. Blink-182
Blink-182 has given fans another preview of what to expect on their upcoming album Nine with the release of the single “Darkside.” The single is one of four previously released songs that will be included in the 15-track LP that’s set to drop on September 20th via Columbia Records. Blink-182 are currently on a co-headlining tour with Lil Wayne and will be making their stop in Austin on Thursday, August 1st.
Of Monsters and Men
Of Monsters And Men have returned with a new album Fever Dream. The album is the first from the Icelandic group since the release of their sophomore album Beneath The Skin in 2015. The album includes the track “Alligator” which earlier this week reached the top of Billboard’s Adult Alternative Songs chart as well as the previously shared track “Wild Roses.” Stream the album below.
