In a recent article, we mentioned how frontman Ezra Koenig had stated that the band planned on releasing “three 2-song drops every month until the record is out.” Now the first two of the six anticipated singles have been released; this morning around 8AM, the band shared the songs “Harmony Hall” and “2021.”
In the same post that detailed plans to release the singles, Koenig also teased the album title with the letters “FOTB,” which left many guessing what the initials could possibly stand for. Koenig answered these questions in a recent interview with Beats 1, where he revealed that these initials stand for Father of the Bride. He also announced that the new album will be released sometime between April and May.
Now, without further ado here is the new Vampire Weekend!
