Okay but imagine if Foo Fighters asked you to come on stage and play guitar in a filled amphitheater… pretty rad, right?
Well that happened to one lucky fan in Kansas at the Azura Amphitheater in Bonner Springs! Frontman Dave Grohl invited a talented attendee, Lauren, to join them and play guitar for their 1997 track “Monkey Wrench.” Another superfan captured the iconic moment.
As she walked up to the stage, Grohl jokingly shouted “six feet!” and then asked if she’s ever played a show this big before. “It’s fucking cool,” said the frontman. He then asked if she was nervous, and of course, she casually nodded her head to say no because she’s a badass. Watch her totally kill that performance below.
