Tame Impala premiered a new song on Saturday Night Live this past weekend and although the name has not been confirmed, many are referring to the single as “Borderline.” Watch the performance below. Earlier this month, the psych-rock band unveiled new music for the first time since the 2015 release of Currents; The song, titled “Patience,” was also performed by Tame Impala on Saturday night (watch below).
As of now, it’s not clear if and when the band will release a new album but we assume that the new tracks serve as a preview of a forthcoming album. What we do know is that Tame Impala will be spending the majority of their summer touring and headlining festivals including Coachella, Shaky Knees, and Lollapalooza.
