The Black Keys have premiered a new song along with a new music video that pokes fun at the fact that the rock duo took a five-year break from the limelight. Pressured by Warner Bros., Dan Auerbach and Patrick Carney work to rekindle their relationship by getting a sage cleanse, doing yoga, and even taking hallucinogenics. Watch the video below.
Next month marks the Black Keys’ first full-length album since 2014’s Turn Blue. The new album is titled Let’s Rock and it will include previously released singles “Eagle Bird” and “Lo/Hi”—which, this week, reached number 1 on the Alternative Songs chart, the Mainstream Rock Songs chart, the Adult Alternative Songs chart, and the Rock Airplay chart; they are the “first band to pull off this historic Billboard feat.”
The Black Keys will be hitting the road with Modest Mouse this fall for an extensive tour. The pair will be taking the stage at the Frank Erwin Center Wednesday, November 13th.
