Today’s catch comes from the one and only Hot Chip. It’s called “Straight To The Morning” and features Pulp frontman Jarvis Cocker. As usual Hot Chip has put out another amazing single that was influenced by both the sounds of disco, and Dua Lipa. Their intention was to get her to collaborate on the track; however, they found a better fit with Cocker while DJ’ing with him in Paris. Here is what the band has to say:
“‘Straight to the Morning’ is a disco anthem about going out, for a time when people really can’t, and it features our friend Jarvis Cocker urging us to go ‘straight through until the break of dawn. Somehow he seems an unlikely figure in this all, and we like it that way.”
