Today’s catch comes from the Australian electronic quintet, Gold Fields. They have just released a new record called Glow – EP, which is their first in 5 years. Today’s catch is the absolutely brilliant and beautiful track called “Solar“. Now I checked out this little known band at SXSW about 5 years ago at Buffalo Billiards, and they completely blew me away. They were such an amazing band to see live, and sounded almost as good as their recordings. To top it off, they did an unbelievable cover of Underworld‘s “Born Slippy.Nuxx“. Their debut record “Black Sun” was a great one, and finally after many years they give us brand new material. Hopefully this new EP will be the beginning of more great music to come.
