Today’s catch comes from the great Louis Kevin Celestin…aka Kaytranada. iT’S BEEN 4 YEARS SINCE K released his last album 99.9{388081cbccfa91f116341f933b18b5c16653e4a9c19a7c8ce932c96defb755a4}, which happend to be my #1 LP of that year. Well, I hope you didn’t make your best albums of 2019 yet because he has sprung a brand new record on us, and it’s a gem. The Haiti-born and Montreal-based producer has named his sophomore album Bubba. It will feature colaborations from the likes of Pharrell, Estelle, Tinashe, Charlotte Day Wilson, Mick Jenkins, Godling, and more. Today’s catch is called “10{388081cbccfa91f116341f933b18b5c16653e4a9c19a7c8ce932c96defb755a4}“, which features the vocal talents of one Kali Uchis, and it’s absolutely delightful. Kaytranada has a knack for producing a laid back, old-school house sound that is incredibly infectious. This song and album will be among my best of 2019.
