Today’s catchof the day comes from the musical duo, James Mercer & Brian Burton (aka Danger Mouse)…or Broken Bells. Mercer (The Shins) and Danger Mouse (Gnarls Barkley) joined forces back in 2009 and then released their self-titles debut Broken Bells in 2010. Earlier in the week, the announced their new upcoming album Into the Blue and released a new song called “We’re Not in Orbit Yet….”, which happens to be today’s catch. Their is no set date on the album release, but it will be their first in 8 years. Today’s catch is their first new single since 2018 when we were teased with 2 tracks that year. The song is beautiful & powerful, which is what you usually get when these two iconic musicians come together. I cannot wait for the LP to arrive!
